KCleaner is a hard disk optimization tool that scans the hard disk for unwanted files and deletes it to save hidden disk space unknown to the user in the form of cache, unused setup files and lost file fragments etc. It has an automatic and manual mode for execution. Manual mode is for experienced users to analyze and select the files for deletion while automatic does it without any user intervention.
It provides a unique feature to unscramble the deleted files impossible to recover even by data recovery specialists or tools. This feature is an important security factor for hard disks with sensitive information and also when exchanging or throwing away crashed hard disks. With options at every stage of operation this software is user oriented with log files to track the process execution. It is able to remove installer cache of various popular softwares.
This software has internationalization making it user friendly for users in non English speaking countries, and it presently support 18 different languages of different countries. The interface follows windows dialog look and feel. KCleaner can be loaded at startup with the open to scan and clean once. |
